/dɪˈtɜrdʒ/

verb

1 to cleanse. 2 to wipe or wash away. 3 to purge.

Liam was new to the one-night stand thing. He’d always been a one woman long-term sort of guy. But after a bad breakup and much prodding from his friends, Liam decided it was time to sample what his town had to offer. The morning found him waking next to a beautiful woman. Or, at least he thought she was beautiful. Her back was too him. She rolled over and revealed herself to be much, much older than the one he remembered stumbling home with the night before. She had snaggled teeth, crazy eyes, and hairy nipples, and Liam knew that he made a bad, bad mistake. When he finally got her to leave, he immediately ripped the sheets from the bed and stuffed them into the washing machine to deterge his apartment of the hazy memories of a wild night.
